I have hundreds of them, and Intuit discontinued its service for reporting the vendors...
I registered for tax1099.com, but it doesn't upload all my vendors from Quickbooks...maybe someone had the same issue???
One of the problems was that the vendors were "not active"...so I had to manually activate them, yet it did not fully solve the problem...

Sorry! I used https://yearli.greatland.com/
Seems to work great. You of course know that you don't have to report companies/corporations, only individuals since you have so much more experience with reporting.
P.S. Good job on not waiting until the last moment

wooh mate...it looks like you're being ripped off!!! 4.99$/form that's too much...
I checked the estimates for my number of forms, and I got few thousand dollars more than what I would pay with tax1099.com (>500 = 0.50$)
I know the due date is tomorrow; we tried to report earlier...but...thanks to changes at Intuit, we got some delays...they discontinued service for Desktop version, and now...to report...you have to enter everything manually (i think I would have to work 7 full work days to put all the data...)
The tax1099 seems to work fine, but it is not as good as the previous Intuit's plugin...Already spent >1h on the phone with tech support, and yet they still couldn't find the problem...I believe they specifically put a cap of 500forms for basic accounts...bastards!

For next year, I think i'll just work on my own app that would export all the data in an excel file.

Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully you can figure out a solution.
Keep in mind there is additional charge that 1099tax charges for mailing the form and filing the state in certain cases.
Yes, would be painful to input all the contact and EID's into the system manually....

Well...i was told that when FEIN are the same for different vendors, it might be a problem with uploading...removed all duplicates...same thing...even worse...if before this moment, 480 vendors were uploaded, now only 438...i think I might bash my head against the wall...clearly Intuit is implying that everyone should get on the "cloud" and pay more for the service... :\

Yes. Hey Torres me into the cloud - I was less than happy but I did find some benefits at the end.

PS. They will easily create your 1099's in the cloud for $9 or $12 a piece. They have been promoting it all over the place.

well, every year we have about 650-700 forms...last year, with Intuit, we paid for the first 20 forms only...above 20 were free...this year...well...damn...it is still free >20, but only from Quickbooks online version, which costs about 20+$/month per user...

ps. Tech support from tax1099 said to wait 3-4 hours till they figure out what's the problem...ouch

I faced similar problem several times when working with QB. Then I changed my accounting software to ZipBooks. I had no other way. I tried to submit 1099 form. May be there were some technical glitch. I wasn't too sure.
