In looking at the # of questions wrong I got for each section and I had 10 wrong in quant, and 13 wrong in verbal. The quant score is a little bit of a shock as is the verbal, because usually verbal is my strength (I finished the verbal section 10 minutes early.... and I remember thinking that I had aced it! In every other GMAT test I've taken, Kaplan, Manhattan, Princeton, GMATPrep, Veritas -- my verbal has always outscored my quant by at least 10%. As a result I have spent the last FOUR months studying quant!) Is this weird or is it just me?????
I'm going to look at my mistakes next to see if I can spot any trends, but I wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience? I realize GMATPrep materials are by far the best resource out there, but I've exhausted all the other free tests so I thought I'd give Platinum a shot. I will say -- I thought the test was excellent, especially the verbal. The CR and SC were especially challenging (harder that GMATPrep).
I am taking the real GMAT next week (in exactly 6 days) and if this is any reflection of my real performance, I might just delay it... I'm going to take my very last GMATPrep CAT tomorrow with everything under real conditions including AWA and IR sections, but a 630-640 is seriously putting a huge damper on my motivation right now...
Anyone have a similar experience with Platinum GMAT? or any other thoughts regarding it? Happy to share more thoughts or questions from the test if anyone is interested.

Have you given the GMAT yet..? Did the Platinum GMAT score help ascertain what bracket you fall into..? I ask as I've just started prepping for the GMAT.I tried a mock GMAT with Platinum and wanted to know if you did the same before embarking on the prep phase. Hope to receive a response on this thread!
Many thanks, Mallika
