I'm apparently a complete moron because I can't make sense of some of the terms in the loans I'm looking at. If anyone has any idea what the following terms mean, please let me know.
1. "Zero payments for last 6 months to students who demonstrate responsible payment throughout their repayment term." I understand being a responsible student, but what does zero payments the last 6 months mean? That whatever balance you have w/ the last six payments approaching is just wiped out if you've been about making payments?
2. "4% loan credit or cash back following the first 33 monthly payments." Does this mean after 33 payments if you do everything properly they just reduce 4% of the principal?

#2 you are right. #1 doesn't make sense to me either, but I think your conclusion of what the deal is is right.
