Hi everyone!
I am planning to apply for the WU's Strategy, Innovation and Management Control program starting next september. I have finished my Bachelor degree at University Bocconi, with a GPA of 2.5 (24/30 in bocconi grades) and I did GMAT yesterday with a score of 630 (Q44, V32). I have 3-moths of work experience in Serbia and some extracurricular volunteering.
What do you think about my chances of passing the first round of applicaiton? If anyone has experience with this school and program, I would be very grateful to hear your opinions.

Hey Dejan,
I can break your profile into the following elements
1) Work experience is a plus, may it be internships or a full-time job. If you have worked for big companies the brand name helps, if not, then make sure that you stress on the job you did and expand on the responsibilities you had and the impact you made.
If the internship was an international experience, it would help as well.
2) Your GMAT score of 630 is pretty average.
Usually average GMAT score for master’s program at WU is around 650-660.
But with a strong application you should be able to make up for it.
Alsoas the program is a specialized masters the avg. GMAT may be lower.
3) Academics play an important role, in your case a low CGPA can be a weakening factor, you can use your essays to mention why they are low and in parallel highlight what you did in their steed.
Bocconi is a good brand, so that would work in your favor.
4) Extra curricular activities is something that business schools are really interested in. They love people who are different and have done something which makes them stand out from the crowd. It may be related to sports(Captain of the college tennis team), school associations ( president of some XYZ association), an interesting hobby( completed a course in handwriting analysis), Volunteering work etc.
So overall your profile has its fair share of strengths and a few weaknesses.
Overall if you put forward a strong application, you should have a good chance at WU.
