I recently finished the first draft of my application essays. I was interested in having them revised by an expert/professional editor. Most of the services I found had terrible reviews, or charged $300 per essay for nothing more than a few notes. I settled on Gurufi. I had never heard of them prior to this, but they had the best reviews of any company that offered true editing services. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I only submitted one essay for revision at first to test the service and decide if it was worth getting all of my essays revised, but after reading the revision of that essay I immediately submitted the rest for editing.
It took me less than 5 minutes to set up an account and submit my essay. I selected the editor I wished to work with and the turnaround time. I chose to work with Brian because of his reviews and his incredibly impressive credentials. It took Brian less than 3 days to get my essay back to me (which was the turnaround time I requested). I felt the essay I submitted was solid in concept and content but lacking in execution. Brian did an excellent job of pulling it all together and allowing me to say what I wanted to in a much more appealing way. Again, I cannot recommend Brian or Gurufi any more highly for anyone that feels their essays need polishing.
