Hello,

Me and my girlfriend are considering to apply to MBA as a couple this fall. If any of you had similar experience, can you give us tips on what to emphasize on in our application or interviews? Also, is the chance of getting scholarship reduced when a couple applies to the same school?

You have the right intuition to think that applying as a couple can have an impact. That said the impact is much greater if you are engaged or married (not to pressure you!). I often help couples with their applications and it does not decrease scholarships. Last year a couple I worked with received $100K each to an M7 school actually. Now the school did match the scholarship so as not to cause an argument between the couple and the wife for getting different amounts

ARINGO works with a lot of couples (we even had two couples where both were admitted to several of the schools they applied to very recently) so we see this a lot, and applying as a couple can definitely be an advantage, including for scholarships, so I would really not shy away from that at all if I were you.
