Hi, have a few questions before applying that I would be grateful to have an answer for.
I plan on applying for MBA R2 & I have 4 years of work ex - 5 by the time MBA would start.
1) Is 3 years undergrad from an Indian uni accepted in all colleges or is 16 years necessary?
2) My GPA is out of 4 but our highest GPA in uni was 3.4/4.0. So will I be measured against a 4.0 GPA or will it be scaled? MY GPA was 2.94.
3) Is a WES GPA conversion needed?
4) For all my work experience, do I need employment letters, salary slips etc or is a letter of recommendation from my bosses enough?
5) For volunteer work do I need to ask for the certificates or are letters of recommendation stating duration enough?

A: No, recommendations letters are all you need. If you are accepted, there is a background check which will help verify many of these pieces of background information.
5) For volunteer work do I need to ask for the certificates or are letters of recommendation stating duration enough?
A: You don't even need recommendation letters. It's based on an honor system. You note the details of your involvement.
For your other questions, this can a good forum but you may be better off directly contacting the admissions offices of the schools to which you are planning to apply. They can give you precise answers that will limit any potential issues later.

I am in a tricky situation right now.
I intend to apply in R2.
I have 3+yrs of workex, it will be 4 by the time I start mba. Currently I have a great new job opportunity that I want to join.
So here are my queries:
1. Will LORs from my previous boss and superiors be acceptable?
2. My superiors have agreed to write one LOR each and hand it to me(PDF/paper). I'm afraid this will restrict the schools I can apply to.
Will I need to ask my recommenders to help for any extra admission procedures, if so then what do I need to request their help for?
Or should I let go of the new opportunity to avoid a mess during my application period?
Please help me out.
