Hi
I began with Rotman MBA application process. I filled in all my personal details and gave 1 recommender's email id as well for LOR.
Post that i withdrew my steps, thought of giving my GMAT once again and aim to get a better score and apply to Rotman the next year.
Will leaving the application in between have any repercussions on me the next year when i re apply (technically applying for the first time)?
Should i inform the admissions committee about leaving the application process in between?

Admissions team doesn't have much time to look at the application and then draw out your prior records of an application that you withdrew.
I do, however, suggest that you give a credible reason as to why you withdrew the application in the additional essay.
It's important to acknowledge some factors as, not being ready for an MBA just yet.

A: No, it doesn't matter. Unless it's a rolling admission, the AdCom looks at all the applications the same way whether they were submitted on the first day the application opens or a minute before the deadline. This will have no bearing.

A: No, it's not necessary. Focus on putting together the best application possible (with a particular focus on the essays, resume, short-answer questions, etc.) and then your interview.
