Hi Team - quick background about myself - i’m currently 25 and a qualified chartered accountant with about 2 years of post qual. experience in M&A advisory (Financial Due Diligence) with a Big 4 (over and above the mandatory 3 years of articleship at another big 4). I’m pursuing CFA as well and i’m done with level 1 way back in 2019 (i’ve been unable to pursue this further due to multiple COVID related postponements). I hope to take a stab at GMAT sometime during Dec 2021 / Jan 2022. I have the following questions: 1) What would be the right year to start making my MBA applications? Will a 2023 / 2024 admit considered too late considering my age? 2) To what extent does school / CA academics play a roll in my applications? 3) I’d like to venture into M&A buyside roles post MBA (preferably VC / PE roles) - any specific universities in the M7 / T20 have a specific focus in this regard?
