Hi SenanuA:
Sorry about your quandary.
1) Most of the schools are happy to waive off your Application Fee if you attend their events/ write to and/or engage with the AdCom
2) That said, part of good management is learning the importance to prioritise well. If focusing on saving about 2-3K USD takes much of your time, and you are not able to focus on saving about 60-150K on your Scholarships, because you were too distracted with smaller things, I won't call it a good managerial approach.

Glad you’re happy to help. The problem however is not an inability to save. It’s a depreciating currency that has fallen 43% against the USD since January. And is now the worlds 2nd worst performing currency. It means anything I had saved up is now worth almost half its prior value in USD. My salary which was worth about $1200 this time last year is now worth $574.
I therefore welcome any and all help.
