Hi Kritin,

That's a great initial score.

Manhattan books would be great.
In addition, you can also procure official GMAT advance question book which has slightly tougher questions compared to OG.
OG will give you online access (and it will have IR to practice)
You can also check gmatclub's youtube channel -> lots of topic wise videos conducted by several prep companies.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers.

hi,
thanks for the replies, the reason i'm not giving an official test is to save both for later.

anksh, thanks for the help, I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering them
1. with 'manhattan prep all the verbal' + 'OG' + 'OG advanced' and help from the GMATclub YT can I get a really good verbal score(42+) considering my current score of 34 which is low. i know that this is subjective, just asking for your opinion, what should I add or change?
2. do i need practice for AWA before exams or just looking at templates is fine, if i need practice then how can i do so?
some more info, I have 3 months' prep time with roughly 2 hours per day of studying
thanks

Hi Kritin,

I would be happy to answer.

1. I think the above mentioned material would definitely suffice. See, it doesn't matter how many books you refer, but rather how you are filling the void (of your weak areas). Focus on your weak areas, attack them and you are good to go.
That said, all the above materials will help you to solve more than 4K questions. Mammoth right? Indeed. You should be able to score V42+ definitely.

2.Don't bother much about IR & AWA at this stage. You are already good at IR as you scored 8/8 in mock.
For AWA, yes there are templates available on gmatclub (there are videos too in gmatclub's channel). You can go thru them on the day when you are enervated and too lazy to work on quants/verbal.

Feel free to reach for any other questions.

Cheers.

680 is a great start! Regarding prep courses, in addition to seeking advice in this thread, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for the best quant and verbal courses, and also read through some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

You also may find it helpful to read this article about how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!
