Isn't in this sentence reporting is done for what archeologists found in Sudan. And as per Manhattan for reporting verbs, that is used. Moreover, can "they assumed to be of" modify noun and the whole phrase stand as a noun phrase for appositive? Because this is an appositive, and I am not sure if appositive can stand by itself without "that" or "which" or any other "wh" word.
