B is definetely out because has no verb.
D is definetely out because " A noted example of his Usonian house concept" modifies the architect.
E is a mess.
Between A and C, I slightly prefer A -a noted example of his Usonian house concept- is an absolute phrase I think.
C doesnt seem horrible, but I didnt choose it because of passive voice, and because "his" is used before its antecedent.
