Thanks for your reply, Veritas! Your reply holds a lot of weight there, thanks!

I just had one last q. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm from India - overrepresented region! Based on my observation, I see lots of IT & consulting candidates and very low IB/finance WE candidates from India. So, will it be right to conclude that Indian MBA applicants mostly have WE in IT followed by consulting & finally IB from India? Based on your observation, is the MBA application from India distributed 50-30-15-5 (IT-consulting-IB or Finance-others), 60-20-15-5 (IT-consulting-IB or Finance-others) or more like 40-25-25-10?

I would say from what I see the top two far and away are IT and capital works (construction industry) employees. IT is the far majority followed by capital works. Not sure I can give you percentages but those two are the most popular

That is interesting to know that capital works employees are second most common MBA applicants.

Thanks for your reply, Veritas! You have been incredibly helpful here.
