I just finished Kaplan CAT #2 and despite getting 8 incorrect continuously (and getting about 18 wrong overall) at the end, I still got 40 in Verbal section. I cannot believe that since I never get more than 31-33 in Verbal sections with same number of wrong answers in other tests. Also, I only got 650 in CAT1 with less number of wrong answers. In my opinion, Kaplan GMAT practice tests are good (good and high quality questions), but Kaplan's scoring algorithm seems to be wrong. I will in fact, go ahead ask them to re-evaluate my scores for CAT#2. Share you thoughts please?

We at Kaplan take the accuracy of our tests very seriously because we know that test takers like yourself are counting on their accuracy. Hi, I also wrote a kaplan free test. I had 18 wrong in Verbal, I still got a 38. How can it be?
Also, considering the fact that i had 7 questions wrong in a row(towards the end), I still got a 38. I just can't believe it. Care to explain?
