I recently found a boatload of LSAT CR questions on GMATclub and I've started practicing them, I'm wondering if the LSAT CR questions are a good supplement/replacement for the
OG CR questions or even GMAT CR questions in general on gmatclub
Hello,
rohit222. You ask a fair question, one that I myself get asked from time to time both in the forum and elsewhere. In general, I and the majority of other Experts on this forum steer students away from LSAT logical reasoning questions (as they are called on that test), since LSAT questions tend to be more dependent on formal logic than their GMAT™ CR counterparts. To be clear, there are many great LSAT questions that can fit well into a GMAT™ preparation program, but you would have to sort out the dross. Most students cannot do this too well, since the questions look quite similar. (But when you start missing them for reasons you do not understand, your confidence can really take a dive, and then you will have exhausted more questions without getting to where you want to be for the purposes of
your test.)
I would recommend you check out other official GMAT™ questions through this forum—just select any of the official sources in the
Practice Question Bank index—before you resort to LSAT questions. I am sure there are plenty you have not seen yet, whether they come from the
GMAT Advanced book or older editions of the
OG.
Best of luck to you with your studies.
