Hi Team,
I recently attempted Official practice exam 1 and 2
And i was surprised to see my Q50 and Q49 score, as i had around 9 incorrect in both the attempts.
Is it that number of incorrect is the wrong parameter to check the Quant score or the practice exam algorithm is messed up?
Need inputs so that I can decide on my strategy and book the exam.

Hi. It seems you probably have made most of your mistakes at the end of the gmat classic gmat prep.
Due to the adaptive nature of the algorithm, the initial questions carry more weight in determining your score and it is possible to get a high score if most of your mistakes are at the very back. The most we have been able to get was Q 50 with 10 incorrect last 10 questions. You can check it out here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/new-format-g ... 69682.html
The gym prep algorithm is reliable and the scores are using the same algorithm as the official GMAT so your scores should be accurate. There is a superman chance there was a glitch or something like that but no one else has reported any anomalies so I think safe to assume your score is accurate. Congrats 👍
PS. I would generally recommend keeping a brisk pace and not be forced to guess at the end at the price of solving everyone of the first 10 or 15 questions. It’s risky.
