my choice is also C

but the OA is E (this Q is from Cracking the GMAT - PR)

but they hv not given any clear explanation with ex.

can any1 figure out fractions which satisfy both the statments........

I am trying do write something theoratical but without success...

if you consider X= sqrt(3) and Y=-sqrt(3) you have the example you was looking for...

good example, i had been mulling over this prob for long time
but never thought about 0 as an integer

there is just no end to the various possibities for the DS Qs :oops:

agree with E.

st.2 can be fractions X( 2.25)+ Y (3.75) and their product can never be an integer.

for both statements you get Yes/No . Combining also Yes/No.
