There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
Sorry for the goofy title. I am a recent Full-Time Rice alum now working at a large company you've heard of, living the dream, etc... I have a close friend/family member who is also hoping to attend Rice in the future. He's got his application pretty much figured out except for the GMAT, and he's struggling a bit on the studying side. I am looking for someone to be his study buddy and keep him accountable.
I am looking for someone who: - Lives in Houston and is comfortable with meeting him in person (he's vaxxed) for GMAT study purposes - Ideally doesn't suck at the GMAT themselves (this one is not super important) - Patient and willing to work with him - Could use additional support going through the recruiting process
In exchange, I can offer the following: - Honest review of your qualifications/chances - Review of all application materials (resume, cover letter, etc.) - Interview prep (I have given dozens of interviews as a 2Y student) - Recruiting/networking help** (probably the biggest value add here, I will hook you up with alum in my cohort at typical companies that Rice places into)
I don't know what time time commitment will look like, but I will match the effort that you put into this. Shoot me a message via this forum or at [riceguy54 at gmail] and tell me about yourself and we can go from there. Thanks!
