I would never want to be president. Sure, the job comes with some nice perks (taxpayer-funded housing, your own personal 747, ability to use the pick-up line "Hey, I'm the leader of the free world, what do you do?" etc) but you pretty much have to sell your soul to get there. Plus, as executive jobs go, the pay stinks ($400k per year I think).
Interesting article, and it brought up some interesting points. Although I think that it was a little too flattering to Bush. There's a lot about his management style - especially avoiding divergent viewpoints and a reputed distaste for detailed briefings - that I think would translate to a lack of success as a business executive as well.
