What is the usual timeline after a deadline for which you can send updated test scores? If you perform better that is.
Tough question: Some schools will accept test scores submitted 2-4 weeks after the deadline, while others won’t accept them even one day past the deadline.
Generally speaking, I advise against submitting scores after the R1 deadline.
Why? Applying in R2 with a higher GMAT score—20 points more, for example—often yields better chances at nearly any school. Therefore, my recommendation, which aligns with the schools’ own advice, is to apply when you are fully prepared.
