A. As did James Joyce, Samuel Beckett's flight the comparison is incorrect as cannot be used to compare nouns

B. Like James Joyce, Samuel Beckett's flight the comparison is incorrect James Joyce is being compared to Samuel Beckett's flight

C. As James Joyce, Samuel Beckett fled The comparison is incorrect for nouns Like should be used

D. Samuel Beckett fled, as James Joyce had done, incorrect comparison

E. Like James Joyce, Samuel Beckett fled right comparison parameters used
