Hi, finally I planned to go beyond Manhattan and Kaplan's AP theory, I found some material in this forum itself. Having come from non-math background, I got intimidated by Geometrical sequence and ratio and b-l-ah b-l-a-h. Plz tell me if we really need to go into that stuff for GMAT? I remember I had seen some problems discussed here where some guys used these terms, which are all Greek to me.

I think that you get A.P problems on the GMAT once in a blue moon. And even then you can manage without the A.P formula.

Once again , Thanks a lot , KillerSquirrel.
I got stuck with Q 1 as I was pretty confident with answer 16. Then saw this discussion -

Goshh...I can't digest this even though you have explained it with 3*0+1 = 1. Do you mean if we ever come across such problems with remainder one we must consider 1?? cuz any number will have X*0+1 true. right???
