:) Thank you for the quick response, much appreciated!

One more query - I understand that my referees can only submit their recommendation letters after I have submitted the application. If this is the case, then are they allowed to start working on the recommendations now? If so, what are the recommendation questions?

I have not found any official source on this. Some unofficial sources have listed these questions:

https://mybestapplication.com/resources/ ... mendation/

Can you please confirm that these are the questions?

Many Thanks

Make a fake application so that fake referees get access to the questions

I had heard that INSEAD is light on scholarship dollars and that the US MBA programs are better funded for scholarship for admitted students. Are you able to share any stats around scholarship availability?

Hi Camille,

I recently submitted my application through iApply. The submitted PDF application that currently shows in my Dashboard is an old version of my application. This version is not the same as the copy of my application that I received in the email from INSEAD when confirming my submission. Is the PDF application in the email the version that will be reviewed by the admissions committee and not the one showing on my Dashboard, which is old?

On a separate issue, my recommender has told me that he received the link to upload my recommendation but that the email told him the deadline to submit was January 2017. I know the recommendation deadline was only extended by a week so I just wanted to note that for anyone out there. :)

Hello Camille, I'm applying at the first round for the 15J class and I have a doubt regarding the optional third reccomendation: I saw that on the iApply webpage there are two upload boxes for "Additional Letters"; can I provide up to 3 or 4 letters? And the 3rd/4th letters are free of layout or must follow the same structure of the two mandatory letters?
Thank you very much.

Hi Luigi,
No format or questions are imposed on your 3rd/4th recommendations. Total freedom :-)

Hi Ces000,

the only difference between Jan and Sept is that the Jan intake has 2 months of summer break during July and august, during which you can complete an internship.
Sept intake will complete the MBA in 10 months straight, and Jan in 12 months. Each has pros and cons. But class size, competitiveness, curriculum offer and structure are absolutely indentical.

I'm sure this subject has be discussed in more lengh previously on this forum or somewhere else on the site.

cheers,
camille

PS: you'll get to see my photo and hear my voice. Because, Yes! i'm a real person!

Hi

I did my MBA from a top 3 IIM (1 year full time program ) and graduated in April 2013 . I did pretty well in my academics and was in the top 1% of my class during my MBA. My post MBA goal was to join a management consulting firm ( Top 3 MBB) . However due to the economic downturn here in India the usual consulting firms did not recruit from our school this year. After doing a search for 8 months for an entry into a top consulting firm I have found that it is extremely difficult to crack in to these firms, once out of school.

Hence I am considering doing a second MBA from Insead , to achieve my goal of switching to the management consulting industry. I am targeting the Jan 2015 Intake . Prior to my MBA I had 6.5 years of experience in Analytics and am currently involved in Product Strategy.

My question is , would I be eligible to apply to Insead , considering that my post MBA workex would only be 1.5 years ? Also how feasible will it be for a person with 8 years of experience to switch to a management consulting firm post MBA from Insead ?

Regards

Hello Camille or anyone else who can help,

I have a general GMAT query. Last year, I ordered a GMAT score report (paying $28) to be sent to INSEAD. However, I did not end up applying due to some issues.

I will be applying to INSEAD this year and since last year, I have taken the GMAT again. But in the list of 5 schools that one can specify to send the score report for free, I did not list INSEAD as one of the schools thinking that they already have access to all my score reports.

Is this correct or would I have to order another score report for INSEAD detailing my new score?

Thanks

Sunil

No - you don't need to order another report.

INSEAD will see both your scores.
