I have a question regarding application process.What is the minimum time one should have between the GMAT and the application deadline.College which I am targeting to apply has application deadline of 15 Nov and I have my GMAT scheduled for Oct first week.
I want to push it for 1 more month and still be able to apply for it, if I get good score.Will it be possible to write GMAT in Nov 1st week and still be able to apply for a college with 15 Nov timeline.Please help and advise.

Completely up to you and how much time you want to put into your essays. Personally, your schedule isn't nearly enough time for me. I took the GMAT in July and have spent hours each day since working on my HBS application for round 1, and that is only one school.
The less time you give yourself, the less ability to you have to reflect, revise, and edit your essays.

That depends on the school. There are 2 types:
1. Your score report must arrive before the application deadline. In this case, you need to take the GMAT at least 20 days before as that that's the GMAC guarantee. Some take 2 weeks and make it but that's risky
2. You must take the GMAT before the deadline. In this case, you mus take the GMAT at least 1 day before the deadline.
You need to verify with your schools to which category they belong.
