At 12:00 pm, trains A and B passed each other. Since leaving Westtown, train A has been travelling east at 40 miles per hour. Train B left Eastville at 10:00, travelling at 25 miles per hour. If Westtown and Eastville are 160 miles apart, how long had train A been travelling when train B left Eastville?

Say Train B travelled from Eastville towards Westville and started at 10 o clock. So by 12 o clock B will travel 50 kms at the speed of 25 kmph.
So the distance travelled by A from westville is 160-50 = 110 kms.
Now for A at the speed of 40kmph A travelled for 110/40 = 2 hours 45 mins. So A Travelled 45 Mins extra before train B left Eastville.
SO IMO Ans is D. 45 Mins.
