I got your message and I am happy to help. :)

Yes! you are right, angle made by min hand will be 180 degree (from 12 to 6 digit in clock). But, we have calculate angle between both hands.

So, to make it simple, we need to change our reference point from 12 to 3. Now, you can think, from 3 to 6, minute hand makes 90 degree (moving from 3 to 6) and hr hand travels 15 degree (as calculated above, from 3 to 6).
