Let the cost of one burger be b dollars, the cost of one shake be s dollars, and the cost of one order of fries be f dollars. We are told that 3 burgers, 7 shakes, and one order of fries cost $120, so we can write:
\(\Rightarrow\) 3b + 7s + f = 120
We are also told that 4 burgers, 10 shakes, and one order of fries cost $164.5. Thus:
\(\Rightarrow\) 4b + 10s + f = 164.5
Let's multiply each side of the first equation by 3, and each side of the second equation by 2:
