TO ANYONE WHO DARES!
i can not get the meaning of "90% of the professors ...... or both".
1.90% can be women and tenured and not tenured?
2. 90% can be women and men and tenured?
3. 90% can be men or women and tenured or not tenured?
Even after reading the solutions provided, this sentence confuses me and I wonder how
the people understood what it meant
can someone explain why it means what ir means
and
can anyone apply sentence correction to it?

Tenured 40 30 70
Not Tenured 20 10 30
Total 60 40 100
Percent of men who are tenured = 30/40*100 = 75%
Let's Say Total Number of professors at the university = 100
Given, Women Prof = 60, So men Prof = 40
Also Given, Tenured Prof = 70, So Non tenured = 30
It is important to understand that 90%, means 90 professors are women, tenured or both, which means 10 prof are Men Not tenured.
Tenured 40 30 70
