Use the double set matrix as shown, and you'll realize that junior students represent 2/5 of the total number of attendees. So we just need to know x.
(1) Total number of attendees is 270

(1) There were 27 faculty, which from the chart represent 1/10 of the total attendees, so that calculates to 270 total attendees.

from statement 2 having attendee number 270, 9/10 of 270 either junior or senior, i.e 243, but what about juniors only? please explain. I think A is the answer.
