The cycle repeats after distribution of 6 balloons.

Since 70 balloons are distributed, we 70/6= 11(Q) + 4(R)

So, 11 complete cycles were performed. One cycle distributes 2 red balloons.

Hence 22 red balloons were distributed in the complete cycles. ----> (1)

The remaining spillover, 4 balloons distributed allowed distribution of only the first four members of the cycle.
Hence 2 more red balloons were distributed then. ----> (2)

(1)+(2) = 22 + 2 = 24
