1) Cost of the radio = $80
We want to make 20% profit of cost: 80*1.2=$96
2) We know that Berthie sells for 20% discount of the selling price. let the selling price be x
x*0.8=96
x=$120
IMO

It seems there are two different people involved here well as it should be the same person .I think the second person should be Bertie as well instead of Bernie , If Bertie and Bernie are two different people then it may not be possible to solve the question!
