We will get minimum number of workers who both are salaried and work in Operations, when only 100 of the workers are non-salaried and do not work in Operations.

Number of workers that are salaried or work in Operations= 400-100=300
Salaried workers= 240
Number of workers that are work in Operations=220

the minimum number of workers who both are salaried and work in Operations= 240+220-300=160

N(total)=N(S)+N(O)-Both+Neither
400=240+220-Both+100(atleast 100)
So Both = 160 IMO C

Formula:
Total - Neither = A + B - Both
—> 400 - Neither = 220 + 240 - Both
—> Both = 60 + Neither
Minimum value of Neither = 100

So, Minimum value of Both = 60 + 100 = 160

IMO Option C
