Let the total employees = 100
25 percent of the employees take the subway to work = 25
Among those who ride the subway, 42 percent transfer from one subway line to another during their commutes = 42% of 25
= $$\frac{42}{100}*25 = \frac{42}{4} = 10.5$$

Let total no of workers be 100

Now, 25 or 1/4 of the employees take subwaway to work

Again 42%*1/4 transfer lines

Now, Calculate, 1/2 of 42 = 21 , again 1/2 of 21 = 10.50 { Actually 1/4 =1/2*2)

Let, the number of employees=100
So, total number of employees that take subway= 100*25%=25
Also, total number of employees that change subway line=25*42%=10.5
Therefore, percentage of all employees that change subway line=10.5/100=10.5%

Thus, the correct answer is option A.
