For all of the diversity weekends that I have looked at they have all contacted me directly. I know McCombs event is November 15th-17th. You may want to contact Jackie or Rebecca at the consortium and I'm sure they will know how.

Just thought I would let you know that I just got appointed to Duke's Weekend for Women committee. Over the years, we've done a good job providing a great venue for women to come together and feel good about Duke. In fact, my class has 36% women, a sizable improvement over last year (I think about 29%). The women's weekend is happening at the end of October.

Duke's minority weekend is also supposed to be pretty awesome, but I don't know as much about it. It's in November.

cheers

I am considering Duke, I have a friend Janessa there from my networking group. I may have to come down for the womens weekend. Thanks for the heads up. Also do you know if Duke is covering expenses for those who attend?

I just confirmed Cornell for Wednesday of next week. I will be taking the bus with another young lady I meet at a Tepper womens event. Chicago is confirmed for Nov 16-18th, now I need to figure out how I am going to get to Texas. This process is sooooooooo damn expensive. Undergrad was not this hard.

Do it! It's going to be a good time and the team working on it is all kinds of good chicks. We just met for the first time today, and I'm psyched.

Feel free to PM me. That's the day after campout (a crazy, sleepless 36-hour event for grad students who want season basketball tickets) so you may notice some sleep-deprived students!

What about physically challenged or mentally challenged people? Do they have enough representation already?

I suggest you speak to the schools regarding that issue if this pertains to you.
