In the MBA SOP, can I mention my short term goals as doing a job and starting my own venture both? Similarly, for long term goals can I mention both LT view of my job and growth of my business venture?
Will it portray confusion of my views or will it be appreciated by adcom?
The Goal Essay should be clear for the committee and make sense with the school and their employment report - so you can mention ultimately you’d like to start your own venture, but you are interested in a job with [company] in the short term as a plan b. Pitching starting your own venture should have a lot of supporting evidence that you are ready to take off from the program.

Also, some universities require an essay asking that how will we contribute to the diversity of the MBA class? How should we respond to that? What all points should be covered in that essay?

Lean on the diversity that you will bring to the classroom - that goes beyond nationality - hobbies, work exposure to specific sectors/functions, experience working across different cultures/backgrounds... then how does that correlate to the school - building teams, participating in clubs, activities, specific events - like entreprenuerial club/case competitions..

Is Oxford comparable to an NYU Stern/Fuqua when it comes to an MBA? or is Oxford a legacy B School we should avoid?

Hi Mycroft123, 3 very different schools - geography means a lot when it comes to career outcomes, NYU & Fuqua are 2 year and include an internship; Oxford is 1 year.
Consider your post-MBA goals and geography preference.

I am studying for a professional course for which I have cleared half of the exams but a few exams are left. So when I send my application for MBA I will only be a semi-qualified. But before the fall 2023 class starts I will have completed my professional degree. So how do I put this on my resume now during R-1 application that I have cleared half exams of the degree but half are left?? Will this impact the adcom decision in any way??

When you put this on your resume, you will put the intended graduation/completion date. Adcoms know that the application is a year in advance, so it is expected.

Hi. My name is Shubham and currently I have around 5 Years of Work Ex in IT Consulting/Project Implementations as a Business Analyst. I am planning to give GMAT in next few weeks with a target score of ~700. I had average academic credentials throughout and trying to target premier B-Schools. How much realistic are going to be the my chances to convert in 2nd round of admissions? Any pointers I should keep in mind? Thanks!

I think if you apply to a range of schools you can have a decent shot at T15-20 schools in the US, but can also consider EU or Canadian schools
