Austin: Over time, solar energy will replace the depleting store of fossil fuels. So, development of solar energy should be a priority

Hanna: I disagree. Solar energy systems are crude and the supply of coal is sufficient for our needs

The misunderstanding between Austin and Hanna is based upon
A) different assumptions of the size of available fossil fuel
B) different beliefs about the environmental benefits of solar energy
C) different understandings of existing solar energy technology
D) different perspectives on time
E) different views of energy economics

I would pick D

bcoz Austin arguement is based on " Over time", where as Hanna link that to "our needs" meaning "Now"

Austin believes that development of solar energy should be a priority because the store of fossil fuel is depleting. Hanna believes that the supply is sufficient. They have different ideas about the size of available fossil fuel. Hence A.
