Hey, in which country u got your gpa?

gmatycoon
Hi guys , I was wondering what do you think is the cutoff for the MBF at St Gallen University. I have applied with a 720 Gmat and a 3.8 gpa and got rejected at R4.
I thought that it was quite easy to get an offer , considering my stats and that i am also fluent in German and i am not from a german speaking country !

Could you please elaborate on “scholarship”? And can I somehow specify that I will pay full amount of tuition fees myself?

I can’t imagine it would be higher than a 650. Insead and LBS are around 710.

I wonder if they were low in spots or perhaps did not think he would attend without a scholarship and they didn’t have scholarship money left this late... R4 is pretty late.

hey Peachlesss, they don't take the fact of whether you can pay it yourself or not into consideration when deciding on admissions. the problem here was probably that he applied in R4, when they have almost assigned all the places already in the previous rounds. Would you mind sharing your profile and whether you have applied in R1 or R2?

I am at my second year of bachelor’s studies. Thus, I will apply only next fall. How important are the extracurricular activities?

Is it feasible to get in with 5.4 gpa and 750 gmat but only one finance-related internship?
