Hi, I have heard that there are some 50 sample essays in a document which are very close to the topics asked on GMAT. Does anyone have such a document??

There is an official list of AWA topics and sample essays, which are available on this forum. You can use that...

I am not preparing for AWA at all... Guess thats not a very good idea but how can one prepare for it without having that scoring algorhytm to provide a grade, so that you know how to improve..

If only we had a separate section for AWA, where we can post our essays and some experts(or ppl who have completed their exams) grade or at least find faults with our essays, it would help us all. This is the only thing lacking on GMATCLUB.com

I found the AWA to be really easy and it honestly really settled me down for the test.

Just look at any of the books and follow the suggested form. Also, using LSAT materials will help your GMAT verbal and it will help you break apart the AWA.

Time management is very important on the essays. 30 mins can just go by!

BTW, I have also seen the GMAT tool for AWA on mba.com. They mention that this is the same tool that is used for the real exam too and this gives real time score.
