Can you please recommend strategy for preparation for GMAT. I have two major issues:
1. My essay is too short about 200 words
2. As a not native I do accidentally some orthographic mistakes (about 5-6). I have a half a year to prepare.
What would you recommend me to focus on?

Hey there,
IMO, I would start by preparing Verbal overall. By doing some reading comprehension tasks, you usually already get a feeling for the language.
Moreover, it also depends on what your business school is expecting you to have in AWA - I've heard, some do not care at all if you have a lower score. In this case, you should concentrate on Quant and Verbal as these are the sections that influence your total score in the end.
I'm also quite positive that chineseburned provided us with a very helpful guide (couldn't test it myself. But I'll tell you more after I've written my GMAT).
Look for "How to get 6.0 AWA....my guide"
Take a look at it. However, as I've said: Don't stress too much about AWA in the beginning of your preparation.

Verbal was my first priority. In general I have improved it. The thing, which Verbal does not help me improve is spelling. Sometimes I misspell words. I have similar problem in my native language.
The question I have now is whether I can get score of 4 having 5-6 errors and if the rest is fine. What do you think about it?
