It should not have a major impact. In fact, it might not even have a minor impact. Generally speaking, the overall GMAT score and then the individual scores (Q and V) are the most important. The IR and AWA scores are tertiary in importance.
The only issue is the combination of a low Verbal and AWA scores. It might paint a picture of somehow who is below average in non-math fields. Is that a fair assessment?
I wouldn't retake the exam for the sake of the AWA score unless you felt you have the time and could improve both your overall GMAT and AWA scores. Then it would be doubly beneficial.
Lastly, the only two ways to deal with this concern are to put together really well-written essays and perform in interviews, if given any.
