Hi,

I just won an award at my company for the best performer last year. I only got to know about it this week.

Now I already have my resume ready and I wanted to know what is the best place to fit it. It is a prestigious award as only a few people in the whole company get it so I do want to include it.

I don't have an awards section on my resume though.
Can I place it under professional experience section? Just another point alongside my work and projects? Or will it look too awkward?

Also, since most schools have a section for awards in the applications, I can skip putting in resume and put it there too.
Any ideas?

imdow123 under the bullet points for that job put this under those but don't have it in a bullet... have this flesh to the left to call it out. And you might want to put it in italics as well
