I agree deans lists, cum laude, anything like that can help fill up blanks. I had some merit scholarships but they didnt renew so I made sure to write that since I didnt want them to think I lost them (thats a bad sign).
Going to a military college I had a chest full of ribbons and awards but I dont think that schools would care that I as the cadet of the month several times, or had good conduct all 8 semesters (no demerits), or my squad was two time marching champions. I have friends who work at companies that hand out awards on a continuous basis as a means of keeping moral up. Basically you get the good parking space for a month or something, a 100 dollar bonus and a fancy piece of paper. However, everyone gets them on occasion and the find reasons to give them to people...Still I think more companies are NOT like that so dont worry about it.
I should have used that I had the third highest licensing exam score in the nation the year I graduated but I dont know if there is anyway to validate that other than a 5 year old piece of paper I have in a file, so I didnt want to use that and be thought of as a liar.
