I'm trying to gear up for the plunge into MBA coursework next fall. I have considered looking at journals, talking to current students and alumni, or taking a class or two over the summer to brush up on quant and accounting. Instead I've decided to break out the netflix and just watch some movies to get me prepped. Here is my list, can you think of any others?

* The Man Who Broke Britain (TV 2004) - I loved this one, DO NOT read ANYTHING about it before you have watched it.
* Capital City (TV Series 1989–1990) - if you manage to find this gem...
* The $treet (TV Series 2000–2001) - an ok series
* Rogue Trader - you will eventually learn about Nick through risk management case studies and popular finance books...
* American Psycho - well, being prepared can't hurt you =)
* 99 francs (2007) - Let's not dismiss Marketing =)
* Merchant of Venice =)
* The Ascent of Money.
* The Pursuit of Happyness

"The Social Network" for the underlying entrepreneurship, PE, lawsuits and all related issues.

Enron: The smartest guys in the room, which was stated above, is a nice documentary.

I can’t believe how long it took ardk to mention "The Social Network". The screenplay was so well written and executed. I really loved it.
