Hi All,


This is Atul Sharma from Bangalore, I have 3 years of work ex in Wipro technologies (IT).

B.E (72%). 10th (88.20 %), 12th (87.77 %).


I am going to write GMAT in Oct. Extra curricular is decent.

I am planning to apply to B-School in Canada because of 3 year work permit for 2 year full time program which can help to pay-off the loan upto (20-25 Lakh).


Can somebody please tell me what should be my approach to do so.

I am planing to change my career stream.

can somebody please help me select some good B-Schools ( Not only top 5) including tier-2, also which provide quality education and help to find decent job in Canada.


I am planning to apply in Nov (2013)-Feb (2014).

Hi Atul -- Most of the focus around here is the top bschools in the U.S. and Europe. While there are certainly some good schools in Canada, they're less commonly targeted by GMAT Club members, so you may have a hard time getting too much response to questions like this.

That being said, we can provide some general feedback about the ones you named that are higher-ranked - but this is just a response re: rankings and it certainly doesn't say whether or not any will be a good fit for you.

But to cherrypick the names that have a strong reputation outside of Canada, we'd say that Ivey, HEC, Rotman, and Queen's are probably upper-list. This is not a condemnation of the others - and anyway, ranking is variable, they change all the time. If you ask a Canadian which the best school is you may get a different answer.

Not sure that helps much ... We can try to answer any further questions if you've got them.
