Hi

Need some help in the b-school shortlisting.

Education: B TECH + MBA
Overall Experience: 8 Years
Current Role: Senior Product Manager at a FinTech startup in India
Expected role after MBA: Business Head in a product organization

Score: 720 (Q49, V40)

I have shortlisted following schools:
Wharton
Stanford
MITSloan
Columbia
INSEAD
Booth
Harvard

My current MBA is from one of the premium institutes in India and I don't intend to change the industry. Do these schools make sense? Should I add any more to the list or remove few?

TIA

These schools are all going to be more in the reach category for you for a number of reasons: 1) you're coming from an extremely tough demographic & one that tends to have very high GMAT scores (740+ for these schools) 2) Your existing MBA combined with your higher than average age & years of work experience (most of these schools look for applicants with 3-5 years of experience) will make your why MBA argument a bit tougher & will also mean it will make sense to target some lower ranked schools. It's fine to apply to some of the schools you listed here as a reach, but I would recommend also looking at schools in the high teens to 30 range to round out your list given these issues that I named above.
