I don't see any math guidebooks here. Simply practicing with OG quant problems is insufficient. It's crucial to master the fundamental concepts and then reinforce the material through re-reading and practicing with questions. You need to do both.
The five Manhattan math books are popular, but another option is to purchase the
MGMAT Number Properties book with the Kaplan Workbook.
Another possible factor is that you didn't expose yourself to enough OG questions. If possible, look into the OG Verbal and OG Quant books.
For those whose first language is not English, a strong commitment is needed for verbal. The Manhattan SC and Manhattan CR guides were a wise choice, but I usually recommend reading the SC guide two or even three times. Also look into
GMAT Fiction. Make sure to completely read every single explanation for verbal after practicing with the OG questions. Learn why one answer is correct, while the other choices are wrong.
It's also important to use an
Error Log to specifically identify mistakes. It's easier to improve this way. Later on, timing yourself with the OG is also helpful.
When you're ready, CAT practice should be done under strict test conditions to strengthen your stamina. Do the whole test (including the AWA) under timed conditions.
But perhaps English is the major issue here. If so, maybe take some time to focus just on that. Options include a language class or self study. During this time reads lots of
GMAT Fiction.
