A question barrons CAT test. Please ignore selected answer.

B

lol, the corresponding number is the probability that we will get the problem right and still be confused by the number next to the letter we chose after looking at it on five separate occasions.

Giving 5 choices for a DS question is bad enough. It's worse when you give answer choices for probabilities greater than 1. Anyway...

P(blue) = 1 - 3/10 - 2/10 = 5/10
P(blue or yellow) = 5/10 + 3/10 = 8/10 = 4/5

So if this is a PS, you will be looking for an answer choice that says 4/5
If this is a DS, you should click C and move on.
