AjiteshArun MartyMurray I booked my test for 23-Feb. Because of the work pressure and upcoming travel plans, i had to book the test. I have also taken a week off from work for the exam.
Currently, i am at QA: 87-88, VA: 84-85, DI: 74-75. Honestly, i didn't practice DI much in last 10-15 days.

My mock order is: VA-DI-Break-QA
In DI section in mocks i am getting more of 705-805/805+(as per GMATClub difficulty) questions in first 10-12 questions, and i get stuck in those questions, ending up guessing last 4-5 questions. Is it due to the sectional adaptive thing? Should i change it to DI-VA-BREAK-QA?

What should be my strategy for the next 5-6 days?

Data Insights would start off easier if it were the first section because, to an extent, the question adaptivity of the GMAT crosses over from one section to the next. So, your strong Verbal performance is pushing up the difficulty of the initial DI questions.

So, it may make sense to do DI first, though, if you do, Verbal will start off harder, and you may experience other new issues as well. So, you could try putting DI first in a couple practice tests and see how the tests go.

For one thing, it sounds as if you should work on DI. Even a few days of focused practice could make a big difference.

That said, you should keep practicing Quant and Verbal some as well, to remain in game mode for those sections.

Also, take at least one more practice test, possibly with the sections in the order you suggested.

You can keep going pretty hard until two days before the test. The day before the test, certainly do some prep to stay in game mode, but dial down the intensity to recharge ahead of test day.

Hi Tucky,

1. As Marty mentioned, one more practice test, max.

2. It really comes down to what you prefer, but it's usually good to switch to light prep (revision, a few short practice sessions) a few days before the test.

3. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, but changing section order at this stage would be a risk. You can and should try to implement whatever time management strategy you've decided on. Don't let yourself get stuck at any point.

All the best!
