Not exactly.
Including both a reason conjunction (Because) and a conclusion conjunction (consequently) to express the relation between two parts of a sentence is redundant. The use of a Double conjunction is one of the specific redundancies that should always be corrected.
What helps us identify this Redundancy is the following Stop Sign:
- Because/Since/Due to/As later followed by so/therefore/thus/consequently
